Bio:

As the ship sailed from Hawkstone heading for Mythas, Alistair thinks back to the day this all started. It was more than 50 years ago in the city of Tir Kitor where he was given his command by his older brother, Cullen who was a mage of the household of Griffonsheld. Alistair’s squad was made up of friends he had grew up and trained with since childhood. Hours later, a huge explosion from the Redstone Hills. Lightening, thunder, flames, and a shock wave could be seen and felt, monsters could be seen flooding the skies and heading straight for Tir Kitor, but unknown to everyone an even greater evil that would follow. After hours of fighting, things seemed to get under control, when in the distance quakes could be felt and got louder with every second. The primordial Ty-h’kadi had arrived. The once stout defenders were decimated with a slight jester of the great evil’s hand. Knowing all was lost and they couldn’t save the city the noble high mages, utilized their last resort, an ancient binding ritual to trap Ty-h’kadi. Before he left to join the mages, Cullen asked Alistair to take his wife Leliana and his daughter Alena out of the city. After accepting his mission he and his squad started to exit the city. The monsters were so numerous that with each block his friends were torn apart trying to protect the mother and child. Just getting out of the city limits Alistair looked around and all he could see was the mother and child, none of his comrades remained. All of a sudden the barrier started to cover the city and knowing the sacrifice that was made to create it and what it took to protect his brothers family Alistair began to feel the rage of losing his brother and comrades, then out of no where a monster slashed at him wounding him deeply. He screamed for them to run away and with that he charged at the beast knowing this may be the place where he would die. After squaring off with the beast it scored a fatal blow, sending Alistair flying, and as he landed he could feel the life draining from his body. Looking around he couldn’t see Leliana or Alena anywhere, hoping they got away he fell unconscious. Waking up later he was surprised that he survived and went searching for any survivors, especially Leliana and Alena. After an hour of looking, he found a group of bodies burned and barely recognizable. Searching through the remains he found trinkets that he had given them. Grief struck that he had failed his brother and for the primordial destroying his home. Alistair swore he would get revenge on all those who helped release or served the primordial.

After years of tracking down and fighting those responsible for helping the primordial escape. Alistair was getting no where with trying to kill the primordial. He needed to find a way to do it, but still grief struck with his failure to protect his brothers family, he couldn’t bear to look himself in the mirror, so he got doppelganger masks to cover his face, so he could continue his quest of revenge.
Looking like someone else made it easier for him to travel and ask around about cultist and other information about the primordial. He also changed his name to Shepard to not arise any suspicion of who he was. Doing whatever it took good or bad, he spent years looking for a way to kill Ty-h’kadi. One day he found himself walking into the city of Merithalar were there was a clamer about a group of adventurers that had broken the barrier over Tir Kitor and sealed away Ty-h’kadi. Shocked by the news he asked where could these heroes be found and they responded that they had just left. Alistair asked a group of bystanders “Who was in this party?” They replied " A young brilliant female wizard, a hearty fighter from the north, A deva with her companion, and a Eladrin witch wielding the lost sword Vaeros. They didn’t say where they were going but one of them said that they were from Westreach." Not knowing where they had gone to, he decided head toward Westreach. After speaking with the people of Westreach, Alistair headed back to Tir Kitor. He reached the catacombs of house Griffonsheld where he discovered that the eladrin witch was possibly Alena the daughter of his brother. He continued his travels looking for the group when he reached Bahirin, where he learned about her disappearance and reappearance, and now she was possessed by the very primordial he has sworn to kill. After collecting himself on the ship he prepares to do whatever it takes to destroy the evil possessing the charge he was suppose to save.
