Human cleric and magistrate of the village of Hawksbridge
Barristan is a grim, serious human male in his mid 30’s. He takes his job as the Hawksbridge village magistrate very seriously. He strives to be fair, impartial, and merciful to those he deems worthy. When matters of civil justice don’t require his time, Barristan often accompanies guard patrols, dispensing justice to those beyond the reach of the town.
In addition to acting as the village magistrate, Barristan tends to a small shrine to Bahamut. The shrine is a single wooden building on the side of the main road through the village. He faithfully performs one weekly service, which are usually attended by a small number of devout villagers.
