Bio:

Personality:

Adventurous, head strong, loves a challenge and thrives on competition. Eth has a very typical fun loving, almost brat/obnoxious kind of attitude. He’s a bit of clown but he knows he’s very good at what he does and this sometimes causes him to take risks that may or may not end well.

Those that earn his respect will also earn his trust, friendship and loyalty. Even if you’re an enemy that fought bravely and nobly it is possible to earn Eth’s respect; but it’s easy to respect the dead.

His fun loving attitude can be quite misleading. Eth is a killer and lives to dominate his enemies in all aspects. He is methodical in his battle strategy and tries to always be one step ahead of his enemy. This attitude lends well towards his abilities as a controller.

Background:

Megarro Elleric is Eth’s father. Megarro is a respected member of the Stone Hawks. Megarro is a druid that favors physical, overpowering attacks with his shape shifting abilities. Megarro won the favor of Donnel Waynwood when he risked his own life to save Donnel’s early in his career with the Stone Hawks. For this reason Megarro is often seen at Donnel’s side and is often absent from Eth’s life. Though absent physically, he is always aware of how Eth is doing in Thorlian Crest.

Steph’Laiel Elleric is Eth’s mother. She’s a typical elf wife that tends to the things of Hir’adieu manor. Her biggest chore is keeping Eth focused. There really isn’t anything especially wonderful to tell about Steph’Laiel. She comes from a noble family and fell in love with Megarro when he was on assignment in Thorlian Crest, an elf city in the Dragonwater River Valley. Her family, the Hir’adieu is a well to do family. They were in favor of the marriage so this part is really quite boring… all you need to know is her family gave the blessing for this union, they were married in Thorlian Crest at the Hir’adieu estate where they now live with Steph’Laiel’s family. This is not an uncommon practice as men are often called to war and there is much comfort knowing your wife and child are safely guarded and with loved ones when you are absent.

You may be asking yourself what is this place, “Thorlian Crest?" Well, this is an elf city that is well guarded by the very woods that surround it. Magic runs thick through this wondrous place. The air feels like silk on your skin and it seems to almost heal your aches and pains. The city is known for their druid arts. The citizens who live in Thorlian Crest are either teachers or students for the most part. Apprentices apply to learn under the masters here from all over Dragonriver Valley and they teach all races from young to old, novice to masters. Corr Hir’adieu (Eth’s grandfather) is a master Druid and of course, Eth studies under him to bring out his latent Druid abilities. It is a common practice for the older druids to take on the role of “teacher” since they are no longer active in war. Corr has 3 other apprentices which has allowed Eth to become much more socially adapted than your average druid.

Stravo Vangelis wandered into Thorlian Crest, spewing tales of great adventure that entertained everyone within earshot. It wasn’t long before he caught Eth’s attention and Eth grew hungry for this adventure. There weren’t any challenges left for him in Thorlian, it was a place for old men and students and he’s beyond that now. He felt his abilities needed to be tested and put to use in ways other than simply running errands between Thorlian and Hawksbridge. Eth sought the sort of adventure that this bard spoke of.

Eth had made up his mind, and when Stravo left Thorlian, Eth followed him in secret. Stravo made his way through the Dragonriver Valley while Eth followed in the trees and grass disguising himself as different animals, until Stravo was ambushed by a group of bandits. At first Eth stayed back and watched, studying the situation and studying Stravo to see if he could handle it. Stravo didn’t flinch, this man had an amazing poker face. He began to talk to the bandits as if they were his kin, with no fear at all. Suddenly they jumped at Stravo and Stravo made haste through the woods. He was surprisingly graceful and light on his feet. Eth followed in awe of his movements as he eluded the arrows of the bandits. Eventually Stravo did misstep however and a group of the bandits cut him off and managed to wrestle him to the ground. 6 men Eth counted, 2 men holding Stravo to the ground, one standing in front of him threatening him with a knife and 3 more going through his things. Eth decided the man threatening him would have to go first but if he could time it just right he could possibly capture the other three while the man paced back and forth. It was decided… FAERIE FIRE and just at once the 4 men were immobilized, unable to move or act. With the distraction Stravo managed to disable the 2 men who were once his captors. With a single arm free he stole the knife from one bandits boot, stabbed him in the foot and then in one swift motion stabbed the other bandit through the ribs, penetrating his left lung. Stravo jumped up off the ground and just smiled as the two men jumped and rolled around in pain. He exclaimed, “This will make a good story! HA HA HA!” After quick introductions and thanks were exchanged Eth and Stravo escaped the area.

Present day, Eth and Stravo have shared many adventures together. It’s not always a night full of laughter, ale and women, but that would be boring; after all, Eth couldn’t improve his skills if they never ran into a little trouble.
